2020 Annual General Meeting
In these unprecedented times, credit unions have done all that they can to continue to delivery vital services to their members, whist ensuring the safety of those members, their staff and volunteers. The Board of Directors hope all our members and their families are keeping well and safe. With Covid-19 and the public health restrictions impacting on all our lives, we have taken the decision to hold our Annual General Meeting (AGM) by virtual means which will result in us doing things a little differently this year.
We want our members to continue to have the opportunity to vote on key decisions about the running of the credit union.
The virtual AGM will therefore go ahead on 15th March 2021 at 6.00 pm.
If you wish to participate please email us before 8th March 2021 to enable us to send you the link to the Zoom. (See guidance notes attached for participating in Zoom meetings). How can you vote? This year resolutions will be conducted by virtual vote.
Due to the specific difficulties we are facing in holding an Annual General Meeting this year due to Covid-19, the purpose of this year’s AGM is to deal with the essential business of the credit union. This includes reporting to members on the financial status of the credit union, declare a dividend/interest rebate. Any other non-urgent matters will be dealt with at the next year’s AGM. As such, there will be no motions from the floor due to the difficulties in managing same remotely

Guide to using Zoom for our AGM
In order to deliver the AGM remotely, A-B-C. Credit Union Limited will use ZOOM
You will need to download the Zoom app from the google or app store onto your phone,
I-pad or whatever device you are using. Follow the prompts to download and run ZOOM.
Before the date of the AGM, we would advise you to familiarise yourself with Zoom and prepare for the event ahead of time. The starting time will be at 6.00 pm on Monday 15th March 2021, however we suggest to you to login a little bit earlier to avoid any last-minute technical issues.

We will try our best to assist with any issues you might experience on the night in joining the AGM remotely.
Please find below a step-by-step guide to Zoom
Login details will be provided by email.
Please click on the link provided or enter the meeting ID and passcode.
Open Zoom and please wait for the host (Chair) to start the meeting.
While you are waiting, you can test your computer audio. Please make sure it is turned on and at the right volume.
Please select “Join with Computer Audio” so that you will be able to see and hear the Chair and any persons presenting.
All non-presenting participants will be muted to allow the smooth running of the meeting.
Please note that the Virtual AGM will be recorded for minute-taking and archiving purposes, so any contribution you make will be recorded.
At the end of the AGM, the host will close the Zoom meeting.
